I am writing to apply for the ‘Website Developer – Seasonal’ position, and I am confident that my experience at school as a ‘Software Engineering Technology’ student and work in the field makes me a suitable candidate for this position.
I possess the skills necessary to succeed in this position as can be attested to by my demonstration website. I have completed much college towards a Software Engineering diploma, and I am now returning for ‘Photonics Engineering Technology’ at Niagara College. I have a variety of experiences, including some technology, sales, customer service and others in a variety of roles. As what pertains to web development, I have completed a mockup website to sell to a customer using WordPress. I have my school projects to show, and I have worked on my private company’s website for ‘publishing’ using PHP. This has lent itself to back-end experience as well.
I am a gifted student, hard worker, technically inclined, computer savvy and customer oriented. I can learn things very quickly and complete my work to a polished finish and high standard of quality, as I am a highly detail-oriented individual. I have displayed that I work very efficiently. I am prompt and punctual. I am easy to work with and have worked in teams and independently.
I am passionate about my work, and I am sure I will make a valuable contribution to your company. I am confident that I possess the necessary skills and attitude to excel in this role. I hope that we can discuss my candidacy in further detail and that we can build a working relationship.
